Since 1999, The Greater Greenville Community Foundation has been helping people who care make lasting contributions to causes that matter. The Foundation offers donors simple ways to achieve their charitable goals and provides support to nonprofit organizations who offer needed and meaningful services to our community.

In 2010, The Greater Greenville Community Foundation distributed over a half million dollars in grants to many nonprofit organizations while in addition provided over $150,000 in scholarships to high school students throughout eastern North Carolina. With assets totaling 15 million dollars, The Greater Greenville Community Foundation comprises of approximately 50 different charitable funds.

The Greater Greenville Community Foundation is governed by a 17 member Board of Directors, created by and for the people of Greater Greenville and Pitt County. Their oversight and wisdom ensures leadership and innovative direction as they continue to seek new ways in which the Foundation can play a larger role in our community.
