Giving through GGCF

Through a community foundation, a person's journey begins with a passion. There are reasons why we give: to make the world a better place to live; to create a legacy for loved ones; support a nonprofit organization's mission that connects to a sense of one's values.

The GGCF can enable your giving to reach a deeper and more personally rewarding level. Because we know that people are passionate about different causes, our Foundation offers a variety of giving options. By creating a giving plan, our knowledgeable staff can help you chart out a strategy that considers your personal values, interests and expectations.

Since the Foundation is here forever, your gift can continue to grow and support causes long after you are gone. For nearly 10 years, we have helped donors create permanent endowments that support organizations through grants to improve education, healthcare, protecting the environment, strengthening the arts, improving job training skills, mental health, youth services, unmet needs of women and girls and much more.

In 2008, GGCF distributed nearly half a million dollars in grants and scholarship funding touching more than 75 organizations and over 100 young people receiving scholarship funding to many colleges and universities. With assets totaling near 8 million dollars, GGCF comprises more than 40 different charitable funds.

Join in the journey to build a stronger community for countless years to come. The GGCF is your partner in philanthropy, helping you support the causes you love the most.
